Research Higher Degrees Managers Group
Purpose
The RHD Managers Group was established in September 2008. The main aims of the Group, in the first instance, are:
- To devise effective ways for the transactional services provided to research higher degree students to be shifted, in accord with previous University of Melbourne agreements, between the faculties/graduate schools and the Melbourne School of Graduate Research.
- To form the key ongoing forum at which the transactional services provided to research higher degree students will be reviewed, and where required, refined and/or referred to the relevant committee/s and other forums for consideration.
- To be, with the relevant Associate Deans (Graduate Research), the primary conduit between the faculties/graduate schools and the Melbourne School of Graduate Research in relation to the delivery of transactional services to all University of Melbourne research higher degree students.
