Graduate Research Coordinators offer essential academic and administrative support to departmental staff and research higher degree candidates. They often serve as the crucial linking point for the numerous facets of graduate research. Although the specific responsibilities of graduate research coordinators are determined by the individual requirements of University departments, general duties include
- liaising between supervisors, candidates, the Melbourne School of Graduate Research and the Melbourne Scholarships Office;
- facilitating the processing of progress reports and completion reports and
- advising candidates on course structure and research opportunities
