The Melbourne School of Graduate Research is a key resource for all MPhil candidates. MGSR offers support, online courses, skills development workshops and information to all graduate research students at the University of Melbourne.

Strategies for a successful start
- Orientation & Induction Programs to help you get your research degree off to a flying start.
- New graduate research students and their supervisors should complete the Research Integrity and the Responsible Conduct of Research checklist, and familiarise themselves with the Attributes of Melbourne Research Students.
- The Six Month Review is a key point in MPhil candidature. Its purpose is to determine whether or not work to date on the research proposal indicates a strong likelihood that it will result in a high quality thesis, completed in the required time.
